This site is essentially my online CV but also points to other things that might be of use, such as my Android projects, Web design work, my photo albums and some of my own music tracks.

Ok, a little bit about me; I studied Electrical and Electronic engineering at the MTS (Middelbare Technische School) Amserfoort, The Netherlands. After graduation, I worked for Unisource Business Networks and KPN Telecom as a Network Controller monitoring optical networks.

I moved to the UK in 2001 to join Marconi plc as a Technical Trainer on Network Management Systems and Optical products. During 2005 I continued this role with Huawei Technologies and in 2007 joined Ciena Corporation as a Commissioning Engineer deploying WDM networks.

I joined DANTE.net (based in Cambridge, UK) in November 2010 as a Network Engineer in Business Operations.

I joined Infinera in November 2011 as an EMEA Deployment Project Manager. My role is in deployment of Infinera’s Optical (DWDM) products within Europe, The Middle East and Africa.
